Spanish La Liga 2008-2009 Spanish La Liga 2008-2009 is a home and away two round-robin involving 20 contesting Spanish club teams. According to the rules, a total of 38 tours will be held. Following the results of regular season the best clubs gain the right to contest in Champions League and UEFA Cup. Also, 3 runners-up getting places 18-20, will leave the League. The tournament started on August 16 and is to finish on May 31, 2009. When entering the results please be aware that the box should be chosen on the line of the team playing at home.
